Upcoming Open Studio and Exhibition in Framlingham

This will be my 5th Annual Exhibition at 34 Pembroke Road in Framlingham.

 
Each year I am lucky enough to take over the garden and studio of this beautiful house in Framlingham for a weekend to display my current work. We have Pimms and nibbles on the Friday every year made by Mrs Marsh, and tea/coffee and cakes for the rest of the weekend. I really hope you can join us.

New Gallery in Debenham, Suffolk - The Spiral Gallery

My work is now on display in another fantastic gallery. The Spiral Gallery in Debenham, Suffolk has an amazing variety of work on display by some fantastic artists including Mike Carpenter who owns and runs it. New Anglian Potters Show at Hyde Hall, March 2017

I've just found out I've been successful for ANOTHER craft fair this year at Hyde Hall in Essex over the May bank holiday.

Getting inspiration at Snape Maltings

Getting inspired at Snape Maltings today. 

Learnt something new about the Henry Moore sculpture out the front of the Concert Hall; it is not actually a Reclining Figure as it is named but a "Scary Crocodile" according to Rupert.

New shaped bowls were thrown last night. Really amazing to be working in such a great studio.

New Studio

My new studio is finally underway with a nice pile of hardcore for the base now in place ready for breaking up over the Easter-break in March.

November 2015 events

There are lots of opportunities to come see my work this November. 

The Open Ceramics exhibition at Salisbury Arts Centre is open until Saturday 14 November 2015.

Once again I am taking part in Art in Clay at Farnham Maltings on 14-15 November 2015 and Brighton MADE at the Brighton Dome from 19-22 November 2015. These are both fantastic craft fairs with some amazing artists. I will probably have a few free entry tickets if anyone is interested in coming along to either show so please get in touch if you're thinking of coming along.

Once again this December I will be taking part in the Designers Fair at St Mary the Virgin, Elseworthy Road, Primrose Hill, London, NW3 3DJ. The show is in aid of the church as is always a great event. It starts at 10am on 12 December 2015 with a suggested entry donation of £2 which goes to the Friends of St Marys.

Salisbury Open Ceramics Exhibition

I've just found out that my application for this year's Open Ceramics exhibition at Salisbury Arts Centre has been successful! My terracotta keg will be on display there amongst some of the great. The show is running from 15 October 2015 - 14 November 2015.

It has just been annouced that I have been successful in my application for the Cambridge craft fair, Innovations in Ceramics. This is going to be held at The Cmabridge Guildhall on 10-11 October 2015. My work will be on display as part of the Anglian Potters stand.

Anglian Potters Summer Exhibition

This year I am taking part with the Anglian Potters Summer Exhibition at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. There are over 60 potters at the exhibition in the Old Library (opposite John Lewis) running from 16th - 30th August 2015 from 10am - 6pm every day (5pm on Sundays). 

I will be there on Sunday 17th August 2015 invigilating the show. I hope to see some of you there.
